A Nifty Dream Infographic

Naturally, your mileage may vary, so don't be giving me your anecdotal evidence of how such and such doesn't really apply to you.

Hell, my dreams are almost exclusively lucid and I don't know if those kinds of dreams were factored into this graphic.

Note the forks for Naked and Flying.

It seems like I experience more than my share of Freedom, eh?

  1. Very interesting and I think for the most part entirely true!

  2. Born free. As free as the wind blows.. kay 'nuff. Nothing in here really does anything for any of the dreams I remember. I remember helping someone steal something from a swimming pool late at night and worrying about my fingerprints. I've never had a dream (where I can remember) flying, being naked, having my teeth falling out, passing a test. Like seriously. I was once in a fort made out of bananas when an army of rebels came out of nowhere and surrounded me. Or how about the time I made a contract as the devil.. and then signed it. Just.. what. WHAT THEN!?

    2. I never denied mine might be fun too.

  3. I don't get anywhere near enough REM but for the most part my dreams are weird and don't really fall into the "generic" ones like falling, being naked, passing or failing a test and what not. I also don't remember the last time I had a nightmare.

    1. Are you standing on the wing? Cuz if you're standing on the wing, that means something significant.

  5. How unfortunate, I've had a lot of these types of dreams, but mostly for the negative branch... like teeth falling out, falling, nightmare, being chased... Altho I do have a lot of dreams about eating or just relaxing, does that mean that I'm hungry and want rest? lol. And then of course, there are all the completely off-the-wall ones...

    1. How ever will you eat after your teeth have fallen out? That must be quite the nightmare for you.

    1. According to my grandmother, dreaming snakes refer to your relationship with your enemies or something like that.

I am always plagued by -.- chasing and teeth falling out dreams. /Sigh.

Though I am glad it has been a while since I had the falling dream. oo.. Those were the worst for me, I wake up anxious just as I am about to hit the ground.
