You guys ever heard of Metro 2033? The game came out about 2 years ago. Post-apocalyptic setting. What is it about post-apocalyptic that is so interesting? Is it the idea of our massive population and the bloated society it maintains coming down all around? The 'picking up the pieces' among the ruins simpler existence?
I wanna play this game. ~( O___O)
I'm feeling the craving for some good fear.
The background track will probably sound familiar to you. I like to call it the '28 Days Later theme'.
The game does look pretty good, and I do like the post apocalypse stuff (for me it's more how does society rebuild? What do we keep and lose? Do seemingly unimportant people have a bigger role?) but the horror. The horror. Well my lack of enjoyment for horror is probably classed as "well documented" by now.
ReplyDeleteHa, what post-apocalyptics have you been watching? Society rebuild? Pshaw.
DeleteYou know that 28 days later theme... I.. I want it.
ReplyDeleteHave I mentioned 28 Days Later is one of my favorite movies?
DeleteI love the apocalyptic setting as well. I think the best horror game I've played is STALKER, not the greatest story, but the atmosphere was amazing.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I've heard of it and that's disappointing news. But atmosphere is important.
Deleteo.o Yeah, I can not play this game but it looks really cool though!
ReplyDeleteSadly I am too paranoid as of lately to play it. XD
Oh? Did something happen?
DeleteNah, I just get anxiety attacks from time to time xD because of stress. The anxiousness causes insomnia and insomnia makes me paranoid. Lol.
DeleteNever heard of it, but it looks flippin amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt's a cult hit type of thing.
DeleteI am not really into any game but I can play tekken and I tried playing counter strike before but my head hurts.haha! but I always enjoy playing something like this, where you get to be the killer and carry a gun. cool. hehe
ReplyDeletehmm..yeah, looks like 28 days later and the walking dead? lols
I actually don't think there are zombies in this game.
Deleteokay, no zombies then. haha
DeleteI'm a huge fan of the Fallout franchise, so might give this a go. Having said that minecraft is taking up all of my free time at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, Fallout!
DeleteI highly recommend switching over to something that has a narrative, though. I feel like Minecraft is like playing Legos without the tactile sensation.
