At the local library renewing a book and I overheard this one.
"I don't have a computer at home."
Oh, you're so lucky. I prefer to come here and get things done, like that. *snaps fingers*
"It got a virus..."
Oh..... too bad.
What a dumb fuck.... True 1st-world idiot right there. Oh, you're so lucky you don't have this evil time-wasting diversion called a personal computer.
sometimes I think I don't want it neither, so much time lost doing shit
ReplyDelete@Orang3: That's like saying, "I wish there was less food, I eat too much of it and it's making me fat."
ReplyDeleteWe are becoming more and more attached to the features on it interestingly.
ReplyDeleteNow with fb on our phones, e-mail, angry birds etc. It's like we can't get unhooked.
@Henry It is a decent way to look at weight loss lol. Just buy less of the stuff. Though this does seem like a fairly odd person. No matter, they'll never know the joys of the internet and it's vast, vast, vast amounts of weird por- I mean, intelligent and original content.
ReplyDeleteYeah no one's going to believe that. When my internet is down I have to go to the library and use their computers, and I'm thankful to be able to use the net and get some things done, but it's still very very slow. Still, makes me appreciate what I have more.
this could be a good argument, you know? :)
ReplyDeletealthough, yeah, sometimes, I thought of this. I mean, my life was okay without internet but of course, it became so much better with internet around =))It make things so much better. I don't get to miss everyone so badly..Ü
Certain people don't use computers-- or know HOW to use computers-- for their benefit. They get to study on it but the only other things they'd do on it is stalk on facebook.
ReplyDeleteIt's more like: "You're lucky you don't have that particular fruit because I don't know how to eat it."
The scary thing is there are a lot of people like that fool.
ReplyDeleteI get a lot done with a computer. Internet, on the other hand.
ReplyDeleteI cant do hw on my computer, i get sidetracked. So I find a secluded spot at school
