Dammit now I'm confused too. I think I would pronounce it Jang Jeekay. I know how you're supposed to pronounce Zhang at least.
I heard it on the TV before looking at the name, and I thought his name was "John G.K." the way they said it.
That's pretty much what I expected. It should approximately be 'jaang jee kuh'
