Where Are Those Posts Going? (o o ) ( o o)
After publishing a post I'll leave it up for a day so it'll show up current on your feeds. After that, in the interests of organization, I throw it into the wormhole so it will stack contiguously with the rest of the blog. I'll catch up eventually. No worries.

Temperature Rising
So far it's been a temperate summer. In fact, it's been unseasonably cool, most days loitering around the 70 degree range.
That changed yesterday.
90. BAM. Right in the face.
If there's one thing I like about working as a lifeguard, it's the fact that I can be around a nice body of water all day. A cool pool, as it were.

Be Kind, Please [<<]
I've started a review process on the blog, going through all the posts since the beginning and performing maintenance work as needed. Some YouTube videos I embedded have since been removed by the uploader so I've removed 'em, some images are no longer hosted and just show a Broken icon so I've replaced them with ones built to last i.e. uploaded one myself, and so on. At some point early on I changed the font I use here, so I've had to re-organize the text in some places. Boring stuff for you to hear about, I'm sure. But an interesting exercise for me. I feel that pride. The pride of authorship.

Title Text
Speaking of images on this blog, I've started adding title text them. It's that stuff that pops up when you hold your cursor over an image. Like on xkcd. Before you go wasting your time, I'll help you out and just tell you that I only started on Monday's post. Before then all the images were both plain and invisible on the blog feeds. (= =___) How lame, right?
Anyhoo, from now on you can have an extra helping of my humour and wit.

Google+
I'm one of those people who has several email accounts. In my case, I use Gmail so that means several Google accounts. This account, the one I created the blog under, used to be my least used account. I'd log in once a week or so to clear out minor amounts of spam. But since the creation of A 1Tofu Life I actually spend most of my time logged into this one now. So much time spent, in fact, that I attached a YouTube account to this one so that I could comment and rate vids. I also had to resubscribe to all my favorite channels.
And now, I've created a Google+ profile, too. It replaced the Blogger profile, which really wasn't all that useful anyway, I feel. On the other hand, Google+ doesn't list the blogs you're following for all to see. Again, no big loss.
In other news: Who uses Google+ anyway? (O.o)?
If any of you happen to have one feel free to add me in your circle so we can ignore it together.
IN other news, my shift key sticks sometimes and it looks like I'm starting my sentences ostentatiously.
In further news, I went back to look at some of my past posts. It took me a long time before I figured to use jump breaks. It's kind of embarrassing how some of my older posts show up on my blog page in their entireties.
IN (⌐⌐_) final news, an even more embarrassing failure of my Blogger skills: All this time, since its inception, my blog has been posting to your Feeds without thumbnails because I neglected to enable enclosure links when I first set it up. This has been remedied. (^_^;;;;;)7

Busy
As you may have noticed I've been abusing my time travel capabilities to post in the past for a while now. Probably two weeks or so...
WHADDYA MEAN YOU DIDN'T NOTICE? /((⊙Д⊙))\
Even this post is being tossed into the wormhole.... my apologies, guys. Things really picked up this week. I mean, "wake-up-and-beat-the-sun-to-the-horizon" kind of "picked up". I've been busy. It feels nice actually. To have purpose, you know? Anyway, so even now (it's Friday, 5/18) I'm really procrastinating....
It'll probably taste bad tomorrow. (9.9)

Spoilers To Come
Well, I've given it some thought and I want to talk about my ME3 experience. And, unavoidably, there will be spoilers. As such I want to give you guys fair warning, those of you who plan to play the game at some point. I'm not going to review the game exclusively, there are some topics the game brought to my mind is all. So if you don't plan to play the game or don't mind spoilers feel free to come and read.
Meanwhile, I'm giving the game another playthrough. ~~~(__^^)

Well Damn, I Missed That One
Woops, guess what guys? That last post was #300. Was I supposed to do something to commemorate the occasion?
Anyway, last night- what should I call these segments? It's getting repetitive to have to tell you guys, "I had a dream..." every time.
.
.
.
I ended up in a small town somewhere in the French countryside. A castle stood up on a hill against a dark blue sky. It was late at night and the streetlamps made little circles of light dotting the streets but deepened the shadows in the alleys. I had on a paratrooper backpack as I ran toward the castle. Then these two girls pulled up and cornered me in one of the alleys. They tossed me in the back and took off. We pulled up to the docks at the edge of the moat and I hopped out and ran around the corner of the guardhouse. I'm not sure if they were allies or enemies because I felt the urge to get away from them quickly. I took a running jump and cat leapt across the water. In real life that probably wouldn't have worked because the sides of a moat are usually naturally defended with slick algae growth from the stagnant water. Once inside I met up with my contact, a guy named Oslo Sederis, but he looked like my high school history teacher.
That's all I remember.

No Time
I'm on a back up computer right now. Don't have much time. The family is approaching in the distance and I have to get out of here.

Just take this. It's dangerous out there.

Impending Shifts
Now that SAD is over and we've gone past the halfway point of this month the time has come for a downhill descent. It's been mostly happy happy joy joy stuff about S-girl and I, fond memories and all that, but we ended for reasons and I will go into that stuff for the rest of this series. It won't all be negative but the 'honeymooning' period is over now.
In other news, internet is acting up again. We're having someone over from Verizon to take a look at the cable later today. For this post, I'll just keep it short.
I'm not sure if I'll have an image for every one of these remaining posts, by the way, although I have noticed some new faces around here because of my inclusions this past month.

I Seem To Have Lost My Thread
Whoops. All that excitement led me way off the trail and now I notice that I have quite a few irons in that fire, Matrix, Infernal Affairs, Penny Pigtails and what-have-you. Enough activism for now, from me, I think.

Someone said puns were the lowest of wit. Or was that sarcasm. Or were puns the lowest form of humour... Who the hell knows?

A Restful Post
Today is a day of rest. Not like I've been posting like mad or nothing but whatever.
Have a look into the past.
You ever look at some of the old games you've played and thought, "Holy shit, everything's so blocky and pixelated!" Well, that's sort of the feeling I've been getting about driving sub-highway speeds these past few days. After having driven several hours of 40+ mph I feel like anything less is just cruising. Perhaps this is the reason everyone I encounter perpetually drives over the speed limit. (Myself included.)
Anyways, enjoy this lol-some pic.

The Return
Well, I ended up staying a bit longer than I'd expected but not to worry, I have returned bearing gifts!
The last time I had a weekend drought I posted, I believe, 4 posts in a single day to make up for the missing days. This time, for the sake of the readers, I think I'll do this instead: For the next week or so I'll be double posting til the numbers match up again. Not to worry folks, I have plenty to say.
In the meantime, enjoy this vintage poster.

A Fresh Hot-Off-the-Press Post
Guess what guys? This is the first post in a long time that I haven't had a draft of at some point. All posts marked Published, no Drafts, none Scheduled. This one's coming right off the top of my head.

100th post!
Ho ho, in other words it's been about 100 days since I started this blog!
I really have to thank all you guys, even you who haven't started following my blog yet. I started this blog in order to share my thoughts on things with people and maybe to introduce you to some really awesome stuff you might not have found otherwise. However, in writing these posts I've had to ponder how to present my thoughts in the best manner to an audience, much different from thinking them to oneself, and in the process I've had to inspect those thoughts. Reading your comments in response to my posts and reading your blog posts on things that I have opinions on, at times I've spotted the faults in my own arguments and had to re-analyze why I came to think a certain way and not another, determine whether I oughtn't to change my opinions. This introspection helps me to grow and I think it's something people neglect to do on a regular basis. Sure, you shouldn't bend and twist in the winds of outside pressures on what to think, what to believe, what to feel, but never reconsidering something after accepting it the first time, or even the second time, is no way to live.
Being sure and being right are not the same. Don't forget that.
I like to say that I view the world in a manner "neither wide-eyed nor narrow-minded" and I think this is a good and balanced path to walk.
I wouldn't be who I am right now, this very moment, without mentally jousting with myself and with you guys, though you might not have realized this at the time haha.
Thank you. (^____^)
P.S. Also, I altered the blog layout a little bit.
