Our prayers have been answered!
April 15 release date for the Let It Go collection on Amazon MP3.
Sure I've already downloaded most of the versions but I am more than willing to pay for quality goods. I may be a pirate but I'm no thief.
Speaking of choosing to pay for digital goods, these guys also deserve your money.
Here and here.

This Is What I've Been Waiting For. Finally!
Well, it's the end of March and therefore all versions of Frozen [2013] will have been released in all their respective countries. More importantly they'll have been released in all 43 languages, which, in turn, means I should finally be able to find high quality versions of "Let It Go" in 42 languages. If you'll recall, the French Canadian release reused the mainland French-sung songs.

These Guys. These... PianoGuys
Today I had the urge to listen to some classic music. Not classical music, per se, just classic music, music I'll never forget.

Still Listening to That Song
So that list from yesterday's post only included songs I could find in good quality. Here's a list I created of languages I did not acquire the song in. Usually, it's because the video under scrutiny was of poor quality because the movie hasn't come out on DVD in that particular language's country.

Current Favorite Song(s) - 'Let It Go' from Frozen [2013]
I can't believe the last post I made was all the way back in May of last year. Good lawdy! All the same, let's not waste time with the 好 久 不 见's and such. (^_^;;;)7

Post-Apocalyptic
Today my brother pointed out that I like post-apocalyptic stuff "too much".
I retort that I like it just the right amount: "lots".
You can make any kind of story set in regular times. There's a virtually unlimited supply of resources out there in a pre-apocalyptic world. That ain't interesting! But in the aftermath of an end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it scenario people will have to survive by scraping up the remnants of civilizations decadence. Bullets will be in finite supply since the factories and advanced manufacturing technology will have been destroyed. Clean water will be scarce. That's a cool premise! Movies like The Book of Eli [2010], books like H.G. Wells' The Time Machine, and video games like Fallout get me in a special way because of these little details.

O HAY
So I was reading my Profile Description and I noticed that I've talked about movies and games and dreams but not really much about food and life quests. So let's hear about that stuff!
AT THE SAME TIME.
Since I was a wee lad I'd had a dream. A noble dream, truly. I had always wanted to eat a swiss roll all by myself. You know what I'm talking about?

Ham
Hey! Hey! Guess what? This post is being sent INTO THE FUTURE! I'm so caught up with posts that I'm spilling forward in time.
================
I'm using D-girl's laptop right now. She uses Chrome and it's not optimized. Poo.
My FireFox is tricked out with Extensions. I'm so used to having stuff like FireGestures (mouse gesture extension) that when I use other computers I end up flicking the mouse and nothing happens. (= =____) And I have shortcut keywords assigned to all my frequently used search engines, like 'y' for YouTube, 'w' for Wikipedia, 'g' for Google, and such.
Actually, now that I think about it, I actually DID set up her browser's search engine keywords once. (9 9__) At least one laptop ago, it seems.
And done. (O_O)-b

The Inside of the Transportation Rings
I just spent the last hour looking through Stargate episodes to find a specific scene. There was one moment in the entire series in which we got to see what the inside of the transportation rings look like during their operation. It was amazing and I still remembered it and I just had to see it again just now.
So, after a little searching, I found it. 'Season 5, Episode 1: Enemies', @14:44. Still sweet. Totally worth it.

NOPE
Shame. Out of the big three East Asian groups, I happen to be least familiar with Korean. Guess which one brought me this fine work?
I can't figure out how to embed or archive anything from this page so the best I have is a link for you.
Check it out. Your horror webtoon of the day.

SCP-173
HOLY CRAP
So that's where this thing is from! Hell, all this time it's been sitting in my Creepypasta folder with the filename 'Creepypasta - Large Doll'. Haha, what a faux pas... (^___^;;;)7

To Secure, Contain, and Protect
A year ago I found some creepypasta (Creepy shit. I love it.) on the internet, as I do. It's called The Holders Series. It's shitty. Well, ok, the first one I read tickled my fancy, what with the esoteric rituals and such. But, well, repetitive and stale succinctly describe all the rest. The parodies perfectly capture the wackiness of it all. I'll say no more.
Then, two days from now (huehuehue time travel is cool), I learned about SCP - Containment Breach and that shit is good. Some of it isn't even really creepy, per se, but it's so fascinating. Playing the alpha version of the game now. Yeah! Alpha. Not even beta stage yet. This thing has promise. A blink gauge? Hell, I never even thought of that.

FOX News never fails to provide me with my daily dose of laughter. Even if it is just one of their local affiliates. Dumb fucks. (>ワ<)

My Thirst Has Been Sated
Many people can't appreciate subtlety. If you're one of them then move along. This ain't for you.
If you have time and patience, check this out. This is one something that you really have to respect in order to get the most out of it. It's like a mystery novel. Flipping to the end to find out what happens immediately is like spitting in the author's face. It ruins the suspense. Spoils the mystery, hmm?
If you get bored halfway through this and want to fast forward, just close the tab. Don't even finish it, just close the tab and leave.
Otherwise, fullscreen it, close the curtains, turn off the lights and put on some headphones.

Hmmm.... Now I'm Not Sure
BTW, this week's been pretty hectic so I've fallen behind on these posts. Instead of putting a little "Posting for #/##" blurb at the top like I used to I'm just going to use the handy scheduler to go back in time.
====================
I've previously mentioned my preference for short girls here. Remember how I said it wasn't because I wanted a meek and helpless damsel? That's still true but now I have to admit that the appearance does actually appeal to me. Damn! I don't like it when they actually are timid but that 'mousy girl' look draws me in.
I met a nicely short girl a while back who made me think about this topic again. I wasn't entirely convinced that time and I set it down. That is, until I met another girl today. Let's call her 814-girl. She is also that nice short I like so much. It prompted my thoughts again and such consistency is enough proof for me to edit my 'personal mental file', as it were. No sense lying to you guys and myself, eh?

Spent All My Time Playing Mass Effect 3, So Here You Go
I'm going to elaborate on this later, but I know something has quality when it can make me feel.
No spoilers, just check out this opening for the game.

More Dreams and More Destiny Music
So last night I dreamed I was in my van trying to take a shower. (%__)7
But this girl kept interrupting me while trying to setup the equipment and asking for my recommendations on what suitcase to buy from the nearby mall outlet. I never got to take that shower. (;_;)
=========================
This song is from a short spin-off series for SEED Destiny, "Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer".

Say What You Want About SEED Destiny, It Had Good Music
As the title says, Gundam SEED Destiny was shitty and most Gundam fans, including myself, prefer to ignore its existence, BUT let's not blame the music makers for crappy story.
I've been going through my music collection (it's massive) and fixing up all the ID3 tags and such so they reflect Album, Artist and such properly.
Haven't listened to some of this stuff in a long time. Shame.

Breaking Bad: Jesse Pinkman/ Aaron Paul
So, after a long hiatus due to Skyler's bitchiness, I resumed watching Breaking Bad and finished up to Season 4. Now I have to wait until Season 5, the final season, comes out.
Meanwhile, while Skyler and Marie took turns one-upping each other in the stupidity department. Skyler does a few ok things, like helping to launder the money Walter brings in, but she manages to screw that up, too. Marie, on the other hand, is a totally worthless character as far as intelligence is concerned. I wish she got worse than what she did.
Speaking of stupid: Jessie Pinkman. He is dumb, just so dumb. I hate him so much for that. He's surrounded by people who know what they are doing or know what to do or know how to do something well. That's Mike, Gustavo, and Walter, respectively. Jessie doesn't fit in to any of those categories. He cooks meth the way a trained monkey with a good teacher would.
BUT
At his core, I'd have to say that Jesse is the only really good person on this show. He is the moral compass in the cast of characters. In a word, he really doesn't belong. He's too soft to lead this life of crime, but too stupid to do anything else.
Aaron Paul, the actor, does an amazing job. Season 3, Episode 9. There is a scene in which Jessie talks about a box he made in craft shop, a beautiful work of art that he ends up selling for drugs. It's a well-played scene that made me respect him more. Aaron Paul, not Jessie.

Short
I think it's high time I delved deeper into which of her qualities I considered irreconcilably incompatible. As a person I didn't think little of her in most respects, but I have some necessary qualifications for my sig. o. candidates.
Wait a minute.
High time? (•_•)
Think little? (ºヮº)
Shortcomings?! (⊙ ワ ⊙)
Well, I guess I'll save the fatal flaw for the next post. These puns make a compelling argument for another topic.
I like my girls on the vertically challenged side, in general.
I've wondered about the reasons, myself. Is it because, psychologically, short girls seem more vulnerable and in need of protection? Sounds plausible but I'm inclined to say this isn't my reason because I much prefer my girl to be capable and strong, someone people can turn to for help if needed rather than someone who always needs some from others, you know? Short is just my preference. In all myfantasies thoughts I'm actually not sure how I'd go about a girl my height. Hmm. Good thing I generally don't have to worry about that sort of thing. (^_^)
At the height that she was, S-girl fit just so in my arms, her head at the perfect height to listen to my heartbeat as I held her. It's little things like that which I still think about sometimes. It's actually a bit dangerous. I miss having someone to do that sort of thing with but that's no reason to just find a girl, I think...
